District Information

In the small district of Lena we have low student to teacher ratios as well as the opportunity for individual attention that is attainable in a small district. Some students do not realize the advantage we, as Lena Wildcats, have.

In the Lena School District we have one (1) elementary school with 187 students in grades 4k-5. We also have one (1) middle school/ high school which consists of 228 students in grades 6-12. The principals of our schools are Carla Spice, elementary; David Honish, high school/middle school; and Mr. Honish also serves as Superintendent.  There are educational programs designed to meet the individual needs of all students including those in talented and gifted programs as well as those who may have exceptional educational needs. The school district has also established the LEARN Charter School to serve students that may encounter difficulties in the traditional school setting.
