District information

Lena school building

In the small district of Lena, Wisconsin we have low student to teacher ratios as well as the opportunity for individual attention that is attainable in a small district. Some students do not realize the advantage we, as Lena Wildcats, have.

In the Lena School District we have one (1) elementary school with 200 students in grades 4k-4. We also have one (1) middle school/ high school which consists of 218 students in grades 5-12. The principals of our schools are Mike Nompleggi, Elementary Principal; Matt Hanson, Middle School/High School Principal; and Ben Pytleski is our District Superintendent.  There are educational programs designed to meet the individual needs of all students as well as those who may have exceptional educational needs. The school district has also established an Alternative Program to serve students that may encounter difficulties in the traditional school setting.
