The Lena Public School District would like to recognize and show our appreciation to our amazing School Board during Wisconsin School Boards Week! The professionalism, dedication, and consistency of our School Board does not go unnoticed and is the backbone of our school district. They are in it for the right reasons and our district has thrived under their leadership. Pictured is President Lori Dufek, Vice-President Ed Huberty, Board Clerk Chuck Imig, and Board Treasurer Dave McNurlen. Former Board Member Tim Goldschmidt resigned at the September Board Meeting to become a more active member of the school system and has begun substitute teaching in the district. We appreciate Tim's years of service to the Board and to the District. New Board Member Nicole Zaidel has been appointed by the Board and was sworn in on Monday. Nicole has been an active parent in our district, raising two Elementary Students, Isaac and Maggie. She has also been an active community member at our Annual Board Meetings and recently completed the Leadership Oconto County Program. Welcome Nicole!
